**About the role**:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the O’Brien Referral Centre, who support multiple services within the Inner City and Sub-Acute, Ambulatory Care and Community Services streams.

The administration manager will be responsible for leading the administration team of the O’Brien Referral Centre. This service is the first point of contact for referrals to services that operate across a range of locations, mostly in the community and ambulatory environments. We are looking for someone who can lead a team, embed innovative models of service delivery and works well within a team environment.

The O’Brien Referral Centre is primarily responsible for registering and maintaining client records across a range of services as well as responding to all incoming enquiries via The O’Brien Referral Centre. The administration manager for O’Brien Referral Centre will oversee the management of workload in the administration team, rostering, recruitment and performance development across the service. In addition, this role will help develop and improve systems and processes across the service.

1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia
2. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
3. Demonstrated evidence of providing high level administrative and secretarial support, including supervision of a team of administrative staff
4. Highly competent in use of MS Office software and patient information management databases (e.g. Chime, CorePas, Web Delacy) with quick and accurate data entry skills
5. Proven aptitude in problem solving, decision making and conflict resolution.
6. Demonstrated experience working in a busy service environment, excellent time management skills, flexibility in work practises and skilled in prioritising competing workloads
7. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with little formal guidelines under limited direction.
8. Proven ability to support a team, with demonstrated experience in initiating and implementing changes to improve service delivery and outcomes.
