Recruitment Partners are partnering with a progressive accounting firm, located in Melbourne's inner eastern suburbs, who are passionate about developing and maintaining relationships with their valued clients. They have an extensively portfolio of High Net Wealth Individuals, and Australian corporations, providing a suite of taxation services, including day-to-day bookkeeping, financial advice, SMSF, retirement planning, assisting clients to meet their financial goals.

They have an opportunity to join their team as an experienced Manager, or for a Senior Accountant ready to step into their first Managerial position. **Please note, a 4-day work week may also be considered.**

What will U be doing?

The Manager will be responsible for both providing expert advice to the team, whilst working on their own portfolio of clients.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:
Delivery of Income Tax Returns, Financial Statements, workpapers, Fringe Benefits Tax Returns, Activity Statements, and yearly tax estimates to clients;
Lead the provision of outsourced accounting functions for clients including day to day accounting services, management of payroll processes, month end reporting and Board reporting;
Provide accounting and tax solutions in a broad range of topics including Division 7a, CGT, Foundations, GST/BAS issues including the margin scheme as well as tax technical topics;
Providing solutions to clients on issues as they arise including facilitating research with junior team members and presenting technical solutions to Directors;
Managing client relationships and working to develop long-term, meaningful relationships with clients.

Lead training and mentoring for accountants to develop their technical and soft skills; and

Actively participate in firm administration including workflow planning, billing, and implementation of process improvements.

What experience do U need?

5+ years' experience in an Australian accounting firm, including Division 7a, GST/BAS and Payroll experience;
CA or CPA qualified;
1+ years of Management experience;
Exceptional communication and presentation; and

Ability to work with a wide, diverse client base.
