**About the City of Ryde Libraries**

The City of Ryde library service comprises of five branches at Ryde, North Ryde, Eastwood, West Ryde and Gladesville as well as a significant online library. Our libraries are places of social inclusion where members of our community borrow items for leisure and lifelong learning, learn about new technology, participate in activities, attend children’s and adults programs, and carry out research for school assignments or business projects. They are lively, busy places and serve a culturally diverse customer base.

**About the Role**

The City of Ryde is looking for a passionate and innovative Library Digital Services Team Leader to join its Library Team.

In this role you will deliver core library functions to enhance and evolve our digital presence in the community. You will undertake systems administration and deliver training for our library management system, review and lead innovative strategies and library digital platforms including purchasing eBooks and eAudiobooks and managing online databases. You will also collect and report on library statistical information, collaborate with team leaders across the library service to ensure a smooth customer experience and lead a team of library professionals and a pool of library casuals. This role also delivers high-quality frontline customer service through rostered shifts and library duties including working as Shift Supervisor as required.

Your commencing annual salary will be circa $85,019.84 - $88,974.25 + superannuation, dependent on your experience and qualifications.

**About You**
You will bring to this diverse role your experience in the delivery of customer centric Library Services through the responsibilities for Library Systems support, development of the digital collections and leading a team that supports library operations.

In addition, you will also have:

- Tertiary library qualifications recognised by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) or other relevant discipline
- Current (NSW or interstate) Driver’s Licence (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Experience in managing library systems and digital platforms
- Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service
