**Overview**:
Our client is a leading Energy Retail organisation. Reporting to the Head of Sales, the primary purpose of the role is to lead a team of 6 to maximise quality sales through both business direct account management at the C&I level, while personally managing a small portion of accounts. Approximate split of effort 30% account management and 70% sales team leadership. As a leader you are focused on delivering on the AUS goals for both securing the base commodity business while partnering with customers on their journey to net zero.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Lead the team of account managers by setting objectives, coaching and developing, creating an environment that drives
high performance, and managing performance towards sales targets for commodity and non-commodity products.'
- Effectively change lead the introduction of operational changes, campaigns and initiatives, ensuring the team is well
equipped to provide positive customer interaction.
- Set the tone from the top on what best practice account management looks like for your team by championing the evolving
processes and products with your client base.
- Assisting to manage & resolve customer enquiries & issues throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Make sensible, fair and reasonable decisions in response to customer or staff complaints, that manage the customer or staff
outcome, brand and commercial risks to the business.

**Required experience and skills**:

- Preferred tertiary qualified (e.g. marketing or business) or
appropriate industry experience
- Minimum of 3 years in similar roles, ideally within the energy
services sector (Solar, PFC, Demand Response, Storage or any
other Energy Solutions)
- Experience with developing, supporting and managing sales teams
- 'Fire in the belly' to make positive change in the world and help businesses get to net 0
- Direct Sales experience
- Call Centre operational knowledge highly regarded
- Experience In the commercial energy solutions space Including:
Solar, flexibility services, Storage and Electric Vehicle seen as desirable not essential
