Melbourne based Not-for-Profit public policy research organisation seeks a dynamic Membership Growth Manager to join their passionate and committed team.

With close to 10,000 members around Australia, our Client is launching an ambitious expansion to its membership program. In order to drive this expansion, they are seeking a high-performing professional to lead their membership acquisition targets.

Reporting to the Deputy Executive Director, and working alongside the Communications team, you will have primary responsibility for driving membership acquisition. Key responsibilities will include:

- Develop and implement strategies and new ideas to attract and acquire new members, targeting relevant audiences through marketing campaigns, outreach activities, and partnerships
- Identify opportunities for membership growth
- Work with other critical staff members, such as the Director of Communications, to integrate membership growth strategies across the organisation
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, to support membership initiatives and drive engagement
- Work closely with the Development, Fundraising, and Communications teams to develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns and promotional materials to attract new members
- Collaborate with Member Communications to provide input and ideas for regular member communications, including newsletters, announcements, and renewal reminders
- Attend and support membership-related events
- Undertake other duties consistent with the purpose of the position as required

**About you**:

- Strong understanding of membership-based organisations, customer service principles, and membership engagement strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, engage with diverse stakeholders, and resolve conflicts effectively
- Analytical skills to interpret membership data, track key performance indicators, and make data-driven decisions
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of marketing principles and experience in developing marketing campaigns is beneficial
- Membership association experience in a plus
