**What you'll be doing**:
Your role as the Transactions Team Leader is to coordinate and monitor the day to day staffing and operations of the Transactions team in Employee Services to facilitate delivery of quality, cost effective services and the achievement of business and service objectives.

This imperative position within NBMLHD will see you develop an understanding and acceptance of managers within the LHD in the use of e-forms assisting them in exercising the authority, skills knowledge and experience necessary to manage workforce transactions
You will plan and oversee the processing of the transactions of the annual new graduate or bulk recruitment processes, liaising with HealthShare, and key stakeholders within NBMLHD to ensure the transactions requirements are consistent with Ministry of Health policy and directives.

This fast paced role is responsible for managing Transactions activities district wide so they are provided in a timely, appropriate and accurate manner to meet the expectations and requirements of NBMLHD.
You will bring to this role a strong focus on high quality customer service in the provision of Operational Support to Managers across NBMLHD, as well as to ensure continuous quality improvement, development and contemporary initiatives in the recruitment and transactions space

**Selection criteria to be addressed**:

- Tertiary qualifications (business, health management, human resources management or other relevant discipline); or equivalent work experience or a combination of both in a large and diverse service industry organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret NSW Ministry of Health Awards, policies, procedures and legislation with an understanding of how to operationalise compliance within the role requirements. Demonstrated ability to be flexible, adaptable and positive towards continuously changing priorities whilst maintaining and supporting a high productive, cohesive and professional workplace culture.
- Demonstrated superior customer service skills with a focused and responsive approach to managing enquiries, issues management, complex complaint handling as well as providing advice, training and guide to all levels of staff and management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated interpersonal and relationship management skills including the capacity to successfully relate to all levels of management and staff as well as external stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, as well as analytical and conceptual skills, including the ability to analyse and interpret information from different sources to pro-actively identify issues and formulate strategies to address them.
- Well-developed computing skills in Microsoft office, particularly in the use of excel, macros and word processing and human resource information systems such as supero or stafflink.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team in the full range of workforce transactional services, with the ability to oversee and direct a diverse team to embrace new challenges in line with the strategic workforce initiatives and business plan.
