**Description**

We are seeking a skilled and efficient professional to oversee the seamless procurement of both stock and non-stock items. As the Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain. Your responsibilities will include:

- Generating accurate purchase orders, including Internal orders, using Oracle.
- Managing supplier setups and evaluations, including maintaining a preferred supplier and item list for non-stock items.
- Analysing sales and inventory data, collaborating with the sales team and planners globally to effectively manage forecasts and safety stock levels.
- Working closely with suppliers to manage product ETA's and providing comprehensive order reports to the team.
- Maintaining a detailed register and tracking the status of all orders.

**Profile**
- Minimum of three years' experience in Procurement/Planning within a high-quality Manufacturing, Distribution, or Service & Repair environment. Experience in the medical industry is an advantage.
- Proven ability to effectively coordinate activities, services, and schedules to ensure smooth and efficient operation of work processes.
- Excellent administration, time management, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Proficient computer literacy, with proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle or SAP) desired.
- High level of proactive problem-solving skills.
- High level of analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel (v-lookup & pivot tables).
- Demonstrated ability to maintain an excellent level of reporting, documentation, and organisation.

On offer is a competitive base salary of $85,000 + 11% superannuation. In addition, you will also have the flexibility to work from home two days a week once training is completed, should you wish to If that wasn't enough, say hello to a 35-hour week
