There is now an opportunity to join the team as a Product Specialist.
**About the role**:
As the Product Specialist for Allied Products in Australia and New Zealand, reporting directly to the Marketing Director, your primary responsibility will be to assist in developing and executing the marketing strategy for our clients allied product category. This includes managing the entire product life cycle of their 3 major brands across all channels in the region and ensuring alignment with the strategic plan.
Your key responsibilities will involve leveraging data analytics to assess market opportunities, analysing product performance, and strategizing for successful product launches and promotions. You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing Teams to identify new product opportunities, collaborate with suppliers, and build a strong product pipeline. Additionally, you will be instrumental in providing product education and training to both customers and internal sales staff, ensuring they possess a deep understanding of the benefits and usage of our allied products.
Success in this role requires effective inventory management, pricing strategies, and the ability to engage with customers at trade shows and industry events to identify new revenue streams. You will also be involved in supporting product development processes, conducting product evaluations, and providing valuable feedback to enhance our product offerings.
**About You**:
To excel in this role, you should have a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on strategic brand-building and impactful promotional activities. Your project management skills will enable you to oversee product initiatives efficiently, from conception to market launch. Proficiency in SAP and Power BI will empower you to analyse data effectively and optimize processes.
Your ability to navigate complexity and adapt to a dynamic industry will be essential in driving innovation and growth. As an enthusiastic team player, you should possess excellent communication and presentation skills to deliver product training and engage with customers and stakeholders effectively. Additionally, your willingness to travel to industry events and customer interactions will demonstrate your dedication to building strong relationships and driving results.
