**About the role**

Through strategic program design, effective engagement with the creative community and internal and external stakeholders the Coordinator, Creative Industries Development will facilitate programs and projects within the places, spaces and communities of Ipswich. You will be responsible for the successful and measurable facilitation of council’s development of the city’s creative industries.
- Drive the implementation and delivery of council’s Arts and Cultural Strategy
- Lead and produce key industry development activities, including but not limited to the Ipswich Art Awards, the Creators of Ipswich Summit, Regional Arts Development Fund
- Build and strengthen local, regional, state and national government creative networks and form strategic partnerships to support growing the capacity and capability of the creative industry sector
- Identify and secure state and federal grant funding to help fund creative initiatives and build income generation opportunities from internal and external sources

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Tertiary qualification in community development, cultural development or a related creative discipline
- Five to ten years’ experience in creative community sector development
- Current Queensland C class driver’s licence
- Understanding of the creative ecology in Ipswich
- Networks within the wider creative community in Queensland
- Belief in our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership

This is a permanent full-time position, with a salary commencing at $121,294 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.
