You will be responsible for engaging with the claims teams to drive the completion of work capacity and s.38 eligibility decisions. The role also includes supporting capability uplift through coaching and training, quality reviews and completion of independent Work Capacity Internal Reviews (Suitable Employment and PIAWE).
This will be a full time, 12 month secondment position based in the Sydney or Newcastle office, with flexibility to work from home.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take a hands-on approach to working with team leaders and team members by facilitating the identification of work capacity pipeline and completion of decisions to drive outcomes (Capacity Stations).
- Analyse and review data to identify claims for action, including review of the claim information to confirm actions required.
- Creating and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders, internal clients and the management team by displaying our values and behaviours.
- Complete quality reviews of work capacity decisions and s.38 eligibility decisions to identify capability gaps (individual or process).
- Implementing and maintaining the compliance framework that addresses all relevant legislative, regulatory and policy requirements and good business practice with respect to work capacity decisions through incident reporting.
ABOUT YOU
- Strong experience in Work Capacity, Claims and Injury Management.
- Strong analytical, evaluation and problem-solving skills to deliver innovative solutions throughout the continuous improvement lifecycle.
- Excellent organisational ability including the use of effective time management and prioritization while having strong stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in a demanding, high volume and deadline driven environment.
