**Your new role**:
The APS5 Complaints Officer operates under limited supervision, handling moderately complex to complex tasks. The role is guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies, and precedents.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Managing complaints and participant incidents:

- Assessing, recording, resolving, and referring as required.
- Managing escalated complaints:

- Ensuring strict deadlines are met.
- Producing quality written correspondence:

- Crafting formal responses for a range of audiences, including the Minister.
- Coordinating correspondence, briefing, and reporting functions: Facilitating effective communication within the Complaints Team.
- Supporting the Complaints Team:

- Contributing to the team’s overall objectives and performance.
