**BACKGROUND**:
Finance Transformation Lead supports a number of key initiatives to improve both local finance teams and the broader business functions, across the region and the global. Those initiatives and projects are at various stages of implementation and completion and require specific and defined action, oversight and management from Regional Finance Operations.

**KEY OBJECTIVES**

Scope of this role is spread across four main divisions:

- Collections (Receivables)
- Accounts Payables, T&E Expenses
- Offshored Services Projects

**MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Receivables
- Oversight and control over the collections of premiums and claim recoveries through coordination with Countries in APAC.
- Ensure timely reporting with support from receivables reporting accountant on
- Ageing Receivables
- USGAAP Provision for bad debts
- Balance sheet Reconciliations
- Conduct detailed analysis to identify key risk areas, improvement opportunities & general commentary to explain the monthly and quarterly receivables results
- Work with in-country teams to identify and resolve receivable issues to achieve regional KPI’s.
- Monitor and analyse credit extension and instalments before they’re submitted to Regional CFO.
- Quarterly receivable review meetings with in-country CFO and credit control teams.
- Assist with the design and implementation of new policies as required.
- Accounts Payables
- Ensure all countries and business units process payments efficiently, accurately and timely.
- Maintain appropriate controls around payment obligation authority. Ensure Industry best practices are followed that are also compliant with general accounting principle and in line with Chubb Overseas General /Asia Pacific regional policies and protocol for accounts payables.
- Travel and Entertainment (T&E)
- Ensure all countries in the region are compliant with the Chubb Overseas General and Asia Pacific T&E policy.
- Provide guidance and assistance on Concur (T&E system). Ensure appropriate controls are in place and assist with escalation of any system related issues to relevant departments.
- Shared Services Unit
- Oversight and coordination with Finance & Accounting function of Chubb’s offshored services to ensure the proper functioning of all Finance processes.
- Monitor Capacity & Service level agreements & ensure issues are promptly addressed and teams are appropriately resourced.
- Regularly review processes to identify opportunities to be transitioned to CBS/Genpact and work closely with the countries to ensure successful implementation.
- Projects
- Management and coordination with stakeholders on new initiatives and projects to improve the broader finance operations function.
- Participate in global discussions for implementation of global solutions (i.e. reporting tools, predictive analytics, dashboards)
- Utilise data mining and analytical skills to conduct adhoc reviews and analysis to explore opportunities for automations and transformation.
- Ensure project milestones and goals are successfully achieved in a timely fashion
