**About the role**

As Design and Coordination Manager, you will lead the Design and Coordination team contributing to broader departmental objectives and collaborate with council stakeholders to ensure optimum integration of design services with project delivery council wide. As a leader who inspires and motivates their team, you will manage the functions of Engineering Survey Services, Civil Design, Pavement Design, Landscape Architecture Design, Project Co-ordination, Scheduling, Estimating and Capital Governance.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Lead the development, implementation and delivery of the capital delivery portfolio supported by high quality policies, systems and practices
- Provide effective change management and embed robust systems to ensure long term planning, financial management, design and project management and team succession planning
- Manage the technical services area by integrating and optimising planning and service delivery across a number of functions in a customer focussed manner and consistent with Council’s strategic direction

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Demonstrated success in a senior leadership position, leading a diverse team of technical service providers
- Current C Class Queensland drivers licence
- A proven track record in development, implementation and planning of capital projects and delivery of outcomes in a high tempo environment
- Qualifications in an appropriate discipline
