The Sustainable Products Partner plays a pivotal role in supporting the BIG W business to deliver our sustainable product commitments. This role will collaborate functionally across BIG W and the wider Woolworths Group ecosystem along with our suppliers to support the execution of our sustainable fibers plan for all Own Brand products in BIGW.

This role will touch all three of the BIG W sustainability pillars; People, Planet, Product, and will support the delivery of the BIG W’s real care initiative and working Better Together for a Better Tomorrow. This hybrid role can be located in Sydney or Melbourne.

**About the Opportunity
**Reporting to the Sustainable Products Manager, your main responsibility will be to partner with our product designers, sourcing and commercial teams to implement the plan for the delivery of own brand products with sustainable attributes aligned to our 2025 sustainability plan and beyond. Your other responsibilities includes but not limited to:

- Coordinating progress reporting against the sustainable product metrics in conjunction with the data and analytics team
- Supporting the development and implementation of sustainable fibre policies and procedures along with tracking and reporting on internal and external training
- Partnering with both internal and external stakeholders to support their understanding of BIG W’s sustainability requirements and the key framework for delivery.
- Planning and delivery of strategic sustainability projects, including but not limited to sustainable product development, reporting, supply chain assessments, events and training.
- Supporting the management of the factory onboarding process completing reviews of responsible sourcing standards and sustainable product requirements including the cotton policy.
- Commence the discovery of our environmental impact under our planet pillar for our têxtile supply partners and build the roadmap for our sustainable planet goals for our product footprint.
- Management of the Brand Certification process to ensure certification is maintained.
- Coordinating internal and external communications on behalf of the sustainable products team
