**Responsibilities**:

- Reporting to the Chief People Officer, develop and execute a contemporary learning and development strategy aligned with Nous' goals and objectives.
- Oversee the design, development, and delivery of a wide range of learning initiatives, including face to face, virtual and e-learning programs. At times you will be in the detail of design and may facilitate learning programs.
- Partner with Office Leads, the Project Excellence team and other senior leaders (e.g. practice and sector leads) on learning and capability improvements. Solve problems and generate practical learning solutions considering multiple stakeholder perspectives.
- Evaluate existing learning programs and implement enhancements to ensure their relevance and effectiveness. Present ideas to senior audiences to gain buy-in to initiatives and changes.
- Lead a high-performing learning team, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in learning and development and incorporate them into Nous' learning strategy.
- Implement learning measurement and evaluation methods to assess the impact and effectiveness of learning interventions.
- Lead learning technology adoption including the Learning Experience System, Learn Amp, and multiple content providers including Litmos, Data Camp and LinkedIn Learning.
- Provide input into the learning budget and manage expenditure to budget.
- Partner with the People Team and other stakeholders to integrate learning and development initiatives into talent management processes, including onboarding, performance management, and succession planning.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in designing and implementing learning strategies and programs in a corporate setting.
- Strong business acumen and a healthy dose of pragmatism to balance design and delivery of compelling learning solutions with the business strategy, appetite, and capacity for learning.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Demonstrated maturity, agility, calmness, professionalism, and resilience in a complex, dynamic, fast-paced, and high growth environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies.
- Ability to analyse data and metrics to drive data-driven decision-making.
- A continuous learning mindset and a passion for staying updated with the latest trends and developments in the learning and development field.
- Professional certifications in learning and development or related fields are a plus.
- Knowledge of professional services is helpful but not essential.
