The Head of Learning Enhancement is responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing improvement of the learning enhancement strategy across the whole school (P-12).

The Head of Learning Enhancement leads a team who monitor students’ personalised learning needs (including talent development and extension), supports staff to effectively develop and implement differentiated curriculum and teaching practices, and has operational responsibility in the Senior School.
- pedagogical leader of learning enhancement, who confidently role models excellence in teaching strategies and curriculum differentiation
- qualified expert in learning enhancement, familiar with the relevant legislative / regulatory frameworks as well as the latest research, policy initiatives or emerging trends
- experienced leader of staff who develops, implements, administers and coordinates protocols, policies, processes, templates and all documentation relating to learning enhancement (including, but not limited to, for Individualised Learning Plans, academic tracking and NCCD data collection)
- skilled communicator who effectively advocates for the needs of students and facilitates professional learning that augments understanding of technically complex information and informs inclusion and equity strategy.

This position is part of the Curriculum and Learning Team and is offered as an ongoing teaching position with a four-year promotional contract starting on 15 July, 2024 (or as negotiated). Applicants must be VIT registered teachers.
