Wound Care Leadership Role

This leadership role oversees the day-to-day operations of a Wound Care Center and is responsible for strategically growing the wound care continuum programs. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and quantitative skills, as well as excellent communication and customer service abilities.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving patient outcomes and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.

Key responsibilities include managing and strategically growing the wound care program, overseeing day-to-day center operations and staff, leading financial management, quality/performance improvement, and community education/marketing of the center.

Requirements include a current Registered Nurse (RN) license to be maintained throughout the duration of employment in this position, Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field with 1 year of marketing/community education in the healthcare industry or clinical operations experience, OR Associate's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field with 2 or more years of marketing/community education in the healthcare industry or clinical operations experience.

Additional requirements include wound care experience and management experience preferred.

Work environment includes normal office environment; primarily indoors. Patient care environment with exposure to hazards (bloodborne pathogens, toxic chemicals, etc.). Exposure to mechanical equipment and proximity to moving objects.

  • Prolonged stationary position, computer use, and keyboarding.
  • Moving about, close/distance/peripheral vision, reading, writing.
  • Lifting/moving items up to 75 pounds with equipment assistance.
  • Pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching/grasping/touching.
  • Auditory and color perception requirements.
