Our Opportunity

We value the skills of Appliance Service Technicians and seek high-calibre technicians to join our team covering Melbourne Metro and Eastern Suburbs. If you are customer-focused and sustainably minded, use your knowledge to quickly repair appliances with our spare parts to satisfy our loyal customers.

This role involves working solely on Fisher & Paykel brands, with focused training on a select range of appliances, leading to higher first-time fix rates and trusted customer relationships.

The position is Monday to Friday with optional weekend work. We support work/life balance by allowing start and finish times to be agreed upon with the Hiring Manager. Start and finish each day from home, eliminating commute times.

Your Responsibilities
  • Perform professional repairs and testing to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain and develop product knowledge through training and manuals
  • Complete all service documentation accurately
  • Manage van stock and spare parts inventory
Required Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience in appliance repair and troubleshooting (highly desirable)
  • Restricted Electrical Workers License (Disconnect & Reconnect Appliances) essential
  • Qualifications in Electrical and Appliance Repair (Cookware, HVAC experience desirable)
  • Strong communication and technological skills
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Self-motivated with a positive and friendly attitude
