Our OpportunityWe value the skills of Appliance Service Technicians and seek high-calibre technicians to join our team covering Melbourne Metro and Eastern Suburbs. If you are customer-focused and sustainably minded, use your knowledge to quickly repair appliances with our spare parts to satisfy our loyal customers.
This role involves working solely on Fisher & Paykel brands, with focused training on a select range of appliances, leading to higher first-time fix rates and trusted customer relationships.
The position is Monday to Friday with optional weekend work. We support work/life balance by allowing start and finish times to be agreed upon with the Hiring Manager. Start and finish each day from home, eliminating commute times.
What You Will Receive- Tools of the trade - Van, Equipment, Uniform, Phone, etc.
- Ongoing training and on-the-job support

- Perform professional repairs and testing to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain and develop product knowledge through training and manuals
- Complete all service documentation accurately
- Manage van stock and spare parts inventory
- Experience in appliance repair and troubleshooting (highly desirable)
- Restricted Electrical Workers License (Disconnect & Reconnect Appliances) essential
- Qualifications in Electrical and Appliance Repair (Cookware, HVAC experience desirable)
- Strong communication and technological skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Self-motivated with a positive and friendly attitude
