Are you ready to make your first move out of public practice? Our client, a leading ASX-listed company in the automotive sector, is seeking a talented Senior Financial Accountant to join their Head Office team. This is your chance to bring your Big-4 or mid-tier expertise to a dynamic, fast-growing organisation where your insights will drive impactful business decisions.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead month-end and year-end reconciliations, consolidations, and financial reporting.
  • Support the Group Financial Controller and Group Reporting Manager in external audits and financial statement preparation.
  • Own the Group's lease accounting in line with AASB 16.
  • Contribute to tax compliance, including BAS preparation.
  • Oversee fixed asset management and assist in system enhancements to improve financial processes.
  • Strengthen internal controls across the business units.
  • Manage special projects that impact business strategy and growth.

About You:

  • CA/CPA qualified (or nearly complete).
  • Strong external audit background, perfect for a first-time mover from public practice.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with exposure to Power BI (desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adaptability, discretion, and a solutions-focused mindset.
