A$100,000.00/yr - A$120,000.00/yr

About the Role

This Financial Accountant position will see you take full ownership of the finance function on site, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day financials, month-end close, and ensuring the integrity of all reporting and compliance obligations. It's a role with real visibility and opportunity to drive process improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing monthly management reports with variance analysis
• Managing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
• BAS, GST, FBT, and payroll tax compliance
• Fixed asset management and balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting audit and statutory reporting requirements
• Partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver commercial insights
• Driving finance process improvements and system enhancements
  
  

About You

You are a confident and reliable finance professional who takes pride in delivering accurate, insightful work. You're comfortable owning a full-function role and enjoy working in a hands-on, collaborative environment.

You'll bring:

• CA/CPA qualification (or close to completion)
• 3+ years of experience in financial accounting or similar roles
• Solid Excel skills and working knowledge of accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• A proactive mindset and strong communication skills
