  Job Description
  
  The roles of a Senior Financial Accountant include:
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance & accounting department.
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly financial reports, including balance sheet, profit and loss statements, internal management reports, and shareholder templates.
  • Prepare, review, and submit Business Activity Statements (BAS)
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Liaise with external auditors and various stakeholders as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for standardising and improving financial processes.
  • Any other duties appropriate to the level and responsibility of the position as required
    
    
  The Successful Applicant
  
  A Successful Senior Financial Accountant Should Have
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Motivation for success, with great attention to detail.
  • Relevant professional qualifications such as CPA or CA.
  • A solid understanding of accounting software and administration systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to translate complex financial data into understandable reports.
  • Knowledge of the energy & natural resources industry
