About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant to join this small but nimble finance team within a professional services environment. This role will suit someone with broad month-end accounting skills who wants direct access to an accomplished CFO.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial reports and management reporting

· Perform month-end and year-end close processes including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations

· Review AP/ AR and payroll

· Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records through effective reconciliations

· Assist in the ongoing improvement of reporting processes, controls, and systems

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between finance, operations, and compliance teams

About You:

· Degree qualified and CA/CPA

· Demonstrated experience in financial accounting, ideally within compliance focused environment.

· Solid exposure to tax compliance, fixed assets & reporting

· Exposure to Xero is highly desirable

· Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams – this is a professional environment.
