NSC is a leader in contact centre solutions, unified communications and network infrastructure throughout the South Pacific.

NSC is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled individual to perform a part time, 3 day a week PR function based in our offices at North Ryde.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for building awareness in the press and any written material, monitoring market conditions, gathering competitor data and implementing marketing plan changes as needed. The purpose of this role is to drive demand and build awareness in Australia and New Zealand through brand, sponsorship and partner initiatives.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
  • Responsible for all press related materials
  • Responsible for at least one press article per month, one case study per quarter
  • Responsible for feature articles in verticals and trade publications
  • Responsible for developing thought leadership articles/white papers
  • Responsible for writing any written material required by NSC
  • Responsible for generating quarterly media report
  • Provide ad-hoc marketing support to Marketing Manager
  • Responsible for external newsletter
To fulfil this role you will have:
  • Business, Marketing or communications related degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • 2-3 years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a small team environment
  • Self-motivation and self-discipline
  • Heightened analysis and problem solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in an environment of change and dynamic growth
  • Willingness to take ownership and accountability for allocated tasks
  • Desire to continually develop skills and continue career progression
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
