OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Cleaning Supervisor you will be responsible for carrying out cleaning audits and ensuring cleaning tasks are complete to a high standard. Assisting and directing the team with cleaning tasks during staff absence. You will be responsible for managing the teams annual leave effectively to ensure service delivery is met. Completion and submission of team member timesheets. Managing and ordering of consumables. Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed and records kept up to date. You must be proactive and be able to problem solve, with good attention to detail. You must be reliable and flexible to the needs of the business. You will work closely with the Soft Service Manager to maintain a high standard of service delivery to our client. Provide excellent Customer Service skills to the Client and associated representees.

Shift Pattern will be Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day. Working hours will be 14:30hrs – 23:00hrs. 30-minute unpaid break.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Working Supervisor with a team of cleaners carry out various cleaning duties.
    • Monitoring cleaning standards to ensure completion to a high standard.
      • Completing paperwork and audits.
        • Communicating with Line Manager.
          • Communicating with the Client in a professional manner.
            • Assist with training of the team and new start inductions.
              • Conducting Team briefings.
                • Maintain great standards of Health & Safety and ensure the teams PPE complies to Health and Safety Legislation.
                  • Be able to work on own initiative and as well as part of a team.
                    • Completion of timesheets
                      • Managing and aproval of annual leave requests.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team with the ability to remain calm under pressure
    • Outstanding Communication skills both internal and external
      • The Ability to effectively prioritise your workload and build relationships
        • Excellent attention to detail
          • A customer focused approach
            • A proactive/can do attitude to work
              • The ability to work on own initiative and take full responsibility of the role
                • The ability to follow process/instructions
                  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and willingness to learn
                    • Microsoft Office IT Skills
                      • Previously Supervisory Experience
                        • Full UK Driving License

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • IOSH Managing or Working Safely although training will be provided
    • First Aid Certificate
