Melbourne Grammar Schoolare seeking a diligent and collaborative payroll professional with a commitment to the provision of high quality and proactive payroll services.
Based at our South Yarra campus, the Payroll Lead works collaboratively with both the School's Finance and Human Resources Departments. The primary focus of the role is to manage the full payroll life-cycle to ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the Payroll Office, so that wages and entitlements are processed accurately and timely for our ongoing and casual staff.

Key Responsibilities
Managing the end-to-end payroll process, including processing payroll, superannuation, tax and other deductions.
Ensuring payroll compliance with all relevant legislation and awards.
Calculate employee entitlements for long service leave and terminations.
Providing payroll support and guidance to employees.
Maintaining accurate payroll records and reports.
Collaborate with HR on the on boarding of new hires and key projects.
About you
Demonstrated experience in a Payroll Lead position with a deep understanding of Australian payroll legislation, Superannuation and the ability to interpret Modern Awards.
A proactive approach to resolving payroll matters and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
While not essential, MicroPay experience would be highly desirable.
