What you will do in the role

The Azure Sales Specialist will work across Australia to maximise partner net new opportunities and revenue by representing Dicker Data and Microsoft in partner recruitment, business development, sales and support. The role primarily focuses on growing Azure consumption revenue and supporting both existing partners and high‑potential new partners.

Goals and Objectives
  • Develop and strengthen partnerships to drive Azure consumption and growth.
  • Manage territory activities including partner recruitment, opportunity identification, business development, pipeline management, portfolio planning and forecasting.
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner with partners for the Azure platform; set targets and maintain relationships with sales, marketing and senior business contacts.
  • Define strategies to accelerate new partners and customers into cloud, expand footprints, and explore next logical workloads.
  • Demonstrate expertise in both business outcomes and technology aspects of defined sales plays.
  • Achieve assigned Azure revenue and usage targets across the region and drive team and individual performance.
  • Conduct regular pipeline management, portfolio planning, sales coaching, forecasting and business reviews.
  • Lead business planning and execution across marketing, sales, development, products, services and territory planning to meet objectives.
  • Increase partner Microsoft sales and delivery workforce via certifications in sales, presales and technology.
  • Collaborate with partners to drive joint business for Dicker Data and the Microsoft BU.
  • Drive sales execution through partner enablement and influence.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Microsoft solutions (e.g., M365 and D365) to enable meaningful conversations with prospects.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8–10+ years of territory or channel sales experience in a high‑tech field, with a track record in channel sales and driving customer and partner adoption of technology
  • Minimum of 5 years selling Microsoft solutions
  • Desire to bring new customers and partners to build a Microsoft practice
  • Highly driven with execution focus, urgency, resilience and a strong work ethic
  • Confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels
  • Minimum AZ-900 certification
