You may have seen the LawConnect boat on Sydney harbour; now it's time to check out who we are. LawConnect is a member of the LEAP group of companies - the leading provider of Legal Practice Productivity Solutions across Australia, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland and New Zealand. We support more than 100,000 lawyers and their staff in small and medium-sized law firms.
We are a fast-growing consumer-facing platform helping people access relevant legal information and connect with lawyers online. We're leveraging AI to redefine access to justice, empowering people in Australia and the UK to get the legal help they need and taking this innovation to the world.
The Marketing team also supports initiatives within LEAP Leads, our B2B integration with LEAP that connects LawConnect users to lawyers within the LEAP ecosystem, giving legal professionals access to new business opportunities and tools to serve clients more efficiently. Together, these products aim to reshape both how legal help is accessed by the public, and how lawyers connect with new clients.
What You'll DoWe're looking for a generalist marketer who wants to work in the hustle and bustle of a start-up environment - being hands on but strategic, juggling priorities but staying focused and organised. You'll report directly to the Head of Global Marketing and play a key role in executing and coordinating multi-channel marketing initiatives, working closely with our internal digital marketing, content and SEO specialists.
You'll work across both the LawConnect platform, and support B2B-focused marketing activities that support LEAP Leads and lawyer engagement. LawConnect's name in the LegalTech market has already achieved so much in a short space of time - you'll have a solid foundation to work with but also influence where this AI product goes next. If you love variety, adaptability, and making an impact, then keep reading
- Plan and execute end-to-end marketing campaigns that drive consumer adoption of LawConnect and support lawyer engagement through LEAP Leads.
- Work with the Head of Global Marketing on campaign planning, competitor analysis, performance, and social media strategy.
- Partner with internal stakeholders across the Development Teams, Regional Marketing Teams, Sales and Customer Success to ensure marketing is aligned and impactful.
- Manage and evolve the LawConnect website, including updates and improvements in collaboration with content, digital and development teams.
- Develop product updates and collaborate on product marketing initiatives to drive adoption of platform features and highlight LEAP Lead's value proposition.
- Deploy and optimise email journeys and engagement campaigns for consumer audiences, supporting onboarding, education, and retention.
- Lead day-to-day social media management partnering with content to plan, schedule and engage with our community across Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Reddit and more.
- Write clear creative and campaign briefs for internal stakeholders and external agencies, ensuring alignment on messaging, timelines, and outcomes.
- Support PR and communications initiatives coordinating with agencies and identifying opportunities for thought leadership.
- Use tools like Braze, Google Analytics, and Looker Studio to track results and share actionable insights with the team.
You have 4-5 years experience in generalist marketing roles (ideally in SaaS, digital platforms, or legal tech), and you're hungry to join a scale-up at a pivotal time where you'll help deliver results that matter. On top of this you have:
- Demonstrated experience planning and managing email marketing campaigns and automated customer journeys
- A strong foundation in digital marketing and social media, with hands-on experience across key channels
- Proven campaign coordination skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Familiarity with marketing tools (e.g. Braze, GA4, CMS platforms, email tools)
- An analytical mindset - comfortable interpreting data and iterating based on performance
- Is a true team player and collaborator - you thrive when you're working with others, valuing diverse perspectives, and contributing to shared company goals. You enjoy working with senior leaders, specialists, and cross-functional teams
- Is a proactive self-starter - you take the initiative to assess the current state of things and actively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Is resourceful and growth-focused - you excel at identifying new growth opportunities across paid and organic channels to drive measurable results
- Can communicate effectively - you can clearly translate complex analytics and insights into actionable strategies that resonate with different stakeholders
- Has a growth-oriented mindset - you embrace challenges, seek out learning opportunities, and always strive to improve both personally and professionally
- Is detail-oriented and thorough - you ensure all tasks and projects are executed with precision and care, leaving no stone unturned
- Your work matters. We're pioneering legal software to empower people's access to justice using AI
- Make an impact. You won't be another 'cog in the wheel' here. We give full trust and autonomy for you to be heard, to work on big & complex projects - and to make a real difference.
- Work with a group of authentic, passionate people who love what they do
- Established and global. LawConnect is part of a successful group of companies in the Legal Software sector. You'll get all the creative freedom that comes with an early-stage start-up but with all the benefits of working for a larger entity - funding, stability and a large, engaged client base
- Flexible and hybrid working. We'd like to find this person in Sydney, but we want you to work in a way that suits you and we're open to flexible arrangements that support you
- Grow your career with us. Our founder Christian Beck has been building legal tech businesses for over 30 years. There are opportunities galore to expand your career based on where your interests lie. We're not afraid to pivot based on market conditions - you will always have the opportunity to stay ahead of the curve and do your best work here.
- Have fun with us. Celebrations. Socials. Sports teams. Access to sailing and yacht events.
- Your well-being is important - so enjoy an additional paid wellbeing day every year, free platinum fitness first gym membership and monthly massages in the office. We'll throw in a catered lunch and breakfast every week too. Oh and a professional barista.
