The Role & Responsibilities
As a Virtual Sales Lead, you'll combine leadership, coaching, and hands-on sales capability to deliver team results and foster a culture of growth.
This position is based in our Sydney office. Hybrid Working Arrangement - 2/3 day split.
- Lead, support, and develop a team of Virtual Sales Representatives to meet and exceed performance targets
- Drive a high standard of virtual customer engagement, supporting your team with effective coaching and feedback
- Conduct team performance reviews, provide ongoing training, and build individual development plans
- Monitor key metrics, analyze insights, and adapt strategies to optimize team performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution of brand strategy and consistent messaging
- Maintain strong customer relationships and lead by example in delivering best-in-class virtual detailing
- Keep abreast of industry developments, market trends, and emerging digital engagement techniques
- Minimum 3 years' experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales, with prior leadership or team coaching experience highly regarded
- Proven track record of delivering sales results and leading by example in a virtual or hybrid environment
- Strong interpersonal and coaching skills with a passion for mentoring and team development
- Exceptional communication skills with a confident, engaging presence across phone and video platforms
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and drive continuous improvement
- Proficient in using CRM systems and virtual engagement platforms (e.g. Zoom, Teams, Veeva)
- Highly self-motivated, organised, and adaptable to a fast-paced digital environment
- A genuine interest in healthcare and improving patient outcomes through innovative solutions
