**YOUR ROLE**
We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Motor Assessor to join our team. Your key focus will be to digitally assess motor vehicle damage using your trade experience to ensure that motor vehicle repairs are conducted in an appropriate manner, and the repair costs are fair and reasonable.
You will also be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders across IAG brands and achieving commercial Motor Vehicle Assessment outcomes through the use of national frameworks and approved motor supply chain models.
As a Motor Assessor you'll be responsible for assessing and adjusting claims for vehicles. You will manage your own case load from start to finish, assessing the damage, quantifying loss, initiating repairs and replacement, and working with customers on negotiating settlements for referred claims whilst providing an exceptional level of customer care.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Tertiary qualification/s in Motor Repair Trades (spray painting, mechanic or panel beating)
- Customer Service Management experience
- Decision making and critical thinking skills
- Experience in Insurance Motor Vehicle Loss Assessing and Claims (highly desirable)
- Relevant industry or specialist qualifications such as ANZIIF (highly desirable)
This is a full-time, hybrid (combination of working from both home and office) role that will involve working across the Melbourne Metro area. Successful applicants will be required to undertake 8-9 weeks of training at our Williams St location.
