We are working with a leading builder/developer recruiting a Construction Manager for Australia and NZ operations. Projects are industrial and agricultural in nature. This role reports to the CEO to provide expert advice across construction, compliance and regulatory matters. You will be responsible for greenfield and brownfield development and maintenance of the group's assets. The business anticipates significant growth in Australia and New Zealand, and the successful applicant will ensure growth objectives are achieved on time and on budget.

Responsibilities
  • Development and expansion of agricultural activities across NSW, VIC and NZ.
  • Manage key relationships with stakeholders including processers and customers, WHS, trades, regulatory bodies and employees.
  • Oversee the onsite construction management of multiple agricultural developments in multiple locations.
  • Oversee civil design, electrical design and water (hydraulic) design and implementation.
  • Quote, tender and manage numerous sub contractors.
  • Lead the Construction Team of Supervisors.
  • Be hands-on when needed while also undertaking preconstruction design and planning.
  • Travel between regional VIC and NSW.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction across multiple projects.
About You

You are a proven leader with extensive experience managing large-scale, complex portfolios within construction organisations. Your background could be from commercial, industrial, institutional, or government projects.

  • Experience working on new build construction projects – Industrial, Commercial, Residential, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in functional briefs, consultant scopes and engagements.
