This is a 12 month part time (3 days per week) Parental Leave contract reporting to the General Manager – People & Culture. You'll contribute to delivering meaningful HR initiatives and support our people across every stage of the employee journey.
As our People & Culture Advisor, you'll be a trusted advisor to managers and employees, helping to shape a great workplace culture while leading projects and contributing to continuous improvement.
Location: Melbourne, with hybrid options across our Southbank office and home. You'll join a close-knit, high-performing team in a role that values flexibility and growth.

Your opportunityIn this role you'll lead day-to-day HR support and practical advice across performance, employee relations, benefits, and compliance. You'll collaborate with managers to deliver people-focused solutions, lead onboarding/induction programs, and shape clear, accessible HR policies.
You'll also support safety initiatives with the WHS team, review data to drive continuous improvement, and help optimise our HRIS—specifically the implementation of a new performance management module. You'll champion change through training, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day HR support and practical advice across performance, employee relations, benefits, and compliance; lead onboarding and induction to create a positive employee experience; help shape HR policies that reflect our culture.
- Support safety initiatives and drive continuous improvement in collaboration with the WHS team; review WHS data and trends to implement practical solutions; maintain accurate systems and documentation.
- Lead and support HR projects with fresh ideas to drive continuous improvement; collaborate with the P&C team to deliver initiatives.
- Assist with HRIS optimisation, including the new performance management module; drive system adoption via training, communication, and stakeholder engagement; monitor effectiveness and UX to deliver improvements.
- Experience in a HR advisory or generalist role
- Solid understanding of employment law and HR best practices
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or a related field
