Customer Service Officer

We are part of the Nippon Paper Group, a leading packaging and paper company in Australasia. Our operations employ over 4,000 team members.

Our customer base includes well-known companies in FMCG, Retail, and Fresh Produce. We manufacture goods that people use daily.

The Opportunity

This role is responsible for servicing Opal Packaging Plus customers and providing sales support. Duties include:

  • Managing customer relationships according to service agreements
  • Servicing walk-in customers
  • Collaborating with the customer service team to manage 'house accounts'
  • Processing sales orders for customers, including repeat and new orders
  • Amending sales orders and product specifications as needed
  • Ensuring data entry accuracy for sales orders
  • Working with the Sales Team on joint projects as required

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems and CRM software
  • A team player attitude
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
