To support our clients' growth across major Energy sector projects, we are seeking an experienced Operational Technology (OT) Engineer to provide cybersecurity support and assurance activities to protect frontline systems from cyber-attacks. This role is part of the Digital Function within the OT BAU core team, reporting to the Senior Cybersecurity Lead.

This is a 2-year Day rate contract based in Perth CBD, with flexible remote and hybrid work options.

As an OT Engineer, your responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining OT asset security at acceptable levels.
  • Leading contractors and service providers delivering OT-specific work.
  • Delivering the OT Maintenance Program.
  • Ensuring OT system changes are secure and fit for purpose.
  • Supporting frontline maintenance during OT incidents.
  • Supporting the CSIRT during cyber incidents.
  • Ensuring security principles are applied to OT system changes.
  • Supporting updates and delivery of OT Security Platform components.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Control System Engineering, OT, or IT.
  • Experience in maintenance and operations.
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity and risk management, especially in Oil & Gas environments.
  • Stakeholder management skills.
  • Leadership qualities.
  • CCNA and/or SANS GICSP certification (or working towards).
  • An Engineering or IT degree from a recognized university.
