The Opportunity

As the Area Manager, you will bring strong business acumen, oversee financials, and ensure compliance with legislation and regulations across multiple services. Most importantly, you will mentor centre managers and their teams to deliver exceptional care and education.

The role includes weekly overnight travel to Toowoomba and fortnightly travel to Brisbane, offering variety and a dynamic work environment.

What You'll Bring
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar senior role (Area Manager, Operations Manager, etc.)
  • Proven leadership that fosters strong team culture and high standards of care
  • Deep understanding of Education and Care Regulations, EYLF, NQS, and Children's Services Award
  • Experience with assessment and rating processes

Must Haves
  • Diploma or Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education and Care, or Diploma of Training/Business Management (or equivalent)
  • 4+ years' experience in a management role
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and support teams, provide guidance and training
  • Experience in policy development and implementation
  • Strong skills in conflict resolution, performance assessments, and workplace relations
  • Ability to work autonomously and travel across Greater Brisbane and Toowoomba
  • Understanding of KPIs and ability to support centres in achieving theirs
  • Current First Aid certificate and WWCC
