We're looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to join our energetic and supportive Procurement Team in Newcastle. The role is focused on managing purchasing activities across our mining operations. You'll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure a seamless procurement process.

This role is based at our Newcastle office, with the flexibility to work from home one day per week. This role is a fixed term opportunity (approx. 15 months duration).

What You'll Do

In this dynamic position, you'll provide high-quality transactional procurement support. Your day-to-day duties will include:
  • Converting approved purchase requisitions into purchase orders
  • Collaborating with the procurement, inventory, and accounts teams
  • Managing inboxes, generating reports, and performing various administrative tasks
  • Engaging with stakeholders and delivering excellent customer service

What You'll Bring

We're seeking someone with strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you will have:
  • Experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within a large organisation
  • Familiarity with SAP systems
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
