Occupational Therapist Level 1-2, Aged Care Assessment Team

Join our dedicated Aged Care Assessment Team as an Occupational Therapist and help empower elderly clients to access the care they need for a better quality of life Salary: $73,427 - $104,753 per annum + 12% super & salary packaging. This is a Temporary Full Time and Part Time vacancy at Bulli District Hospital (BDH). Applications close: 11 September 2025. This is a temporary leave relief position until 28 December 2025 with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to conduct comprehensive aged care assessments in line with Department of Health and Aging and ACAT guidelines.
  • Provide referrals, support, and information to patients and their families to promote timely and equitable access to Australian government-funded aged care services.
  • Ensure efficient and effective assessments for clients in acute care facilities and community settings.
  • Contribute to ensuring consistency and equity of access to services.
  • Participate in training for aged care assessments via the My Aged Care learning portal (training provided in the workplace).
Qualifications and requirements
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role
  • Valid NSW Driver's Licence

About the organization

Bulli Hospital provides inpatient, outpatient and allied health services, including an Urgent Care Centre. Located near Bulli Beach, the hospital supports a nurse-led model of care and a range of services for the Illawarra region.
