Overview

Occupational Therapist | Exceptional Support & Mixed Ages Caseload – NSW based not-for-profit organisation supporting children and young adults with physical disabilities, neuromuscular conditions, developmental delays, and neurodiverse conditions. New Graduate Occupational Therapist to join the team in Wollongong. Part-time and full-time roles available.

Responsibilities
  • Support clients ages 2-18 presenting with a diverse range of physical and neurodiverse conditions, in clinic and community settings.
  • Conduct 1:1 assessments and prescribe evidence-based interventions.
  • Facilitate 1:1 and group therapy sessions.
  • Learn to write NDIS reports and recommendations with guidance from the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Participate in a team environment with supervision and mentoring to develop skills and caseload management.

  • Weekly 1:1 supervision with a Senior OT (6+ years of experience)
  • Fortnightly peer meetings for supplementary clinical support
  • On-site parking and a flexible, family-friendly workplace
  • Administration support for scheduling and billing
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA registration
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Driver's licence and own vehicle
