The role

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled IT Manager to oversee our IT division in Australia. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders and the Group Executive: IT, ensuring that technological initiatives are effectively aligned with overarching business strategies and objectives. The successful candidate will manage the ICT environment, working alongside designated vendors to guarantee the reliable operation of infrastructure, data management, applications, and cybersecurity measures across all Australian brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align IT strategy and operations with the Group Executive: IT
  • Manage vendor relations and service delivery
  • Lead a small internal IT support team
  • Oversee distributed IT infrastructure and networks
  • Ensure IT security across offices
  • Drive IT projects (upgrades, implementations, migrations, relocations)
  • Advise on new technologies and process improvement
About You

Your proactive approach and ability to adapt to rapidly evolving technology landscapes enable you to successfully lead IT initiatives and foster collaborative vendor partnerships. You are comfortable navigating both on-premises and cloud-based environments, leveraging your experience with enterprise platforms and regulatory frameworks to enhance operational efficiency. Your leadership style emphasizes empowering teams, driving continuous improvement, and championing secure, scalable solutions that support the organization's long-term objectives.

Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in ICT management across on-premises and cloud environments
  • Strong background in SaaS platforms and integration components
  • Experience with M365, Entra, Intune, Azure, and SD-WAN
  • Experience in regulated, ISO-aligned environment
  • Knowledge of Australian security best practices such as the ACSC Essential Eight and Privacy Act compliance
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science
  • Industry certifications such as MCSE or CCNA (desirable)
