An opportunity exists for an Engineering Clerk to join our Engineering Services department, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of maintenance and engineering services is sustained across Hollywood Private Hospital.

You will be responsible for undertaking general administration/receptionist activities, which will involve, but is not limited to.

• General reception duties.
• Raise, allocate and close off work orders.
• Generate and issue purchase orders and work orders to approved contractors.
• Generate department meeting agendas and minutes.
• Generate reports as required.
• Ensure work records are received and filed appropriately.
  
  

You will also be responsible for ensuring that the workplace is safe for all staff and visitors, meeting all Workplace Health and Safety regulations.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have experience working in a similar role, preferable in a health services environment and be committed to promoting and accepting the Ramsay Way values. Your ability to effectively communicate with staff, visitors and external service providers is essential to this role.

The successful candidate will also meet the following criteria:

• Broad understanding of building maintenance services and applicable terminology.
• Basic understanding of hospital operations is desirable.
• Sound understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, Email etc.
• Very good office management skills, particularly record keeping
• Works effectively in a small team with good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
• Is accurate, focussed and disciplined
• Demonstrated ability to work proactively and without supervision
  
  

Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $37.11 + superannuation + levels of experience and qualification.
