Window installation TA

About the role

West Coast Window Installations' is looking for a full-time Window installation TA / general labourer / all rounder to join our team in Malaga. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting tradesmen with the removal & installation of windows & doors, maintaining site cleanliness and other general labouring tasks to support our operations.

We are looking for 2 new team members.

The first is someone to work primarily site based alongside our installers. You'll be an all rounder TA assisting them with removal and installation tasks, managing site cleanliness, assisting with glazing tasks, cutting materials, basic hand and power tool use. Any previous industry experience will be very advantageous. This can position can offer an opportunity to progress in to an installation role. Vehicle provided for this position.

The second person in a 50/50 site / factory based role. When site based you'll be assisting the installation teams. 50% of your time will be factory based, preparing materials, putting away stock, assisting with light fabrication, checking off orders, stock management etc. forklift license advantageous.

What you'll be doing

Assisting installers with the removal & installation of windows in residential and commercial properties

Carrying and moving materials, tools and equipment as needed

Ensuring work areas are kept clean and tidy

Providing general support to the installation team as required

Delivering materials and site waste management.

General factory preparation tasks of parts and materials for upcoming jobs

Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures.

The second position would also involve inventory management, unloading deliveries, logging supplier deliveries, preparing materials and parts for upcoming projects, assisting with fabrication / assembly tasks, maintaining a clean well organised workplace.

What we're looking for

Some prior experience in the glass industry / window installation, general labouring / site based tasks

A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Good communication and teamwork skills

The ability to follow instructions and work safely. We care committed to the health and safety of all employees and have a zero tolerance approach to unsafe practices.

Physically fit and able to complete manual handling tasks safely.
