We are looking for a Head of Architecture to lead enterprise architecture efforts in a federated model, focused on delivering real value through platform optimisation and strategic alignment — not technology for technology's sake. This role is suited to a practical and pragmatic leader who thrives on stakeholder engagement, operates with a cross-domain and agnostic mindset, and takes true ownership of the architecture function. Platforms in use; SAP, snowflake, and Monday.com.

You will provide hands-on guidance, elevating architectural maturity, and championing business-aligned technology outcomes. Success in this role requires strong stakeholder management, a collaborative leadership style, and a laser focus on maximising value from existing technology investments.

Responsibilities

Lead the architecture function, managing a team of domain and enterprise architects
Define and embed enterprise architecture standards, principles, and governance frameworks within a federated delivery environment
Engage directly with senior business and technology leaders to understand priorities, shape roadmaps, and align architectural direction
Ensure architectural oversight is maintained across platforms and initiatives, focusing on reusability, scalability, and risk mitigation
Drive architectural assessments and capability mapping to guide modernisation efforts and strategic decision-making
Maximise value from existing platforms by identifying opportunities for simplification, integration, and optimisation
Support solution design across multiple domains, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and operational needs
Promote a culture of collaboration, pragmatism, and delivery-oriented architecture throughout the business and technology teams

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a senior or head-level architecture leadership role in complex, federated organisations
Strong capability in enterprise and solution architecture, with the ability to operate across business, application, data, and infrastructure domains
Pragmatic, hands-on mindset with a bias toward practical outcomes over theoretical models
Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate business priorities into fit-for-purpose architectural strategies
Experience leading and developing high-performing architecture teams
Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and foster alignment without centralised control
Track record of maximising value from existing technology investments rather than driving unnecessary change
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills across cross-functional teams
