People & Culture Manager / National Return to Work Coordinator

The Merchandise Planner plays a key role in delivering this vision by driving profitability through accurate forecasting, insightful reporting, and proactive analysis of core product lines.Working closely with the Planning Manager, Creative Director, and Product Team at MSCR's Brookvale office, the Merchandise Planner will monitor product lifecycles, identify sales opportunities, and ensure commercial targets are achieved through effective planning and decision-making.

This role would suit a data-driven professional who can translate trading performance into actionable strategies to ensure optimal stock levels and maximize sales potential.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

• Maintain and refine core line forecasts to optimize stock levels and meet sales targets.
• Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and seasonal forecasts with variance analysis against actuals.
• Align forecasts with promotional plans, seasonal trends, and business growth objectives.
• Collaborate with the Planning Manager to review and adjust core line sales and inventory plans based on trade performance.
• Analyze historical and current sales data to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging patterns.
• Prepare, track, and manage OTB budgets ensuring alignment with revenue and margin targets.
• Monitor committed spend versus plan and adjust buying decisions to maintain optimal stock flow.

About you:

• 3–5 years' experience in merchandise planning or a similar role, ideally in online business(s)
• Proven track record in sales forecasting, inventory management, and data analysis.
• Advanced skills in Excel
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in stakeholder engagement.
• High attention to detail and quick learner
• Understand design principles and how to implement them into a commercial plan.
