Our client is a food manufacturer specialising in premium consumer goods products. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically driven Systems Accountant to play an integral role in managing varied systems in this business, with strong process improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities- Data Collection: Gather financial data from diverse sources and ensure reconciliation.
- Data Cleaning and Preparation: Clean, preprocess, and standardise data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Data Analysis: Identify trends, patterns, and outliers in financial data to reconcile and resolve discrepancies.
- Data Management: Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and security measures.
- Financial Reporting: Generate customised reports for stakeholders using financial data.
- Systems Implementation: Assist in implementing financial software systems and configuring them to meet organisational needs.
- Systems Maintenance: Ensure proper maintenance of the General Ledger and supporting systems.
- Process Improvement: Develop and document reconciliation processes, and identify opportunities for efficiency improvement through technology.
- 3+ years experience in systems and/or data analysis roles.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and large ERP enterprise systems.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to data integrity, and excellent communication skills.
