This is an exciting opportunity for a technically driven Systems Accountant to play an integral role in managing varied systems in this business, with strong process improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Data Collection: Gather financial data from diverse sources and ensure reconciliation.
  • Data Cleaning and Preparation: Clean, preprocess, and standardise data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Data Analysis: Identify trends, patterns, and outliers in financial data to reconcile and resolve discrepancies.
  • Data Management: Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and security measures.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate customised reports for stakeholders using financial data.
  • Systems Implementation: Assist in implementing financial software systems and configuring them to meet organisational needs.
  • Systems Maintenance: Ensure proper maintenance of the General Ledger and supporting systems.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and document reconciliation processes, and identify opportunities for efficiency improvement through technology.
Requirements
  • 3+ years experience in systems and/or data analysis roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and large ERP enterprise systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to data integrity, and excellent communication skills.
