We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior / Consultant with 3-4 years of experience to join our dynamic Sustainability Consulting team. This role is ideal for a professional who possesses a strong foundation in building systems and services or mechanical engineering combined with expertise in sustainable design and building performance. You will play a crucial role in guiding our clients toward a more sustainable and low-carbon future, integrating environmentally sound practices into every stage of their projects.

Snapshot of the roles:

• Lead sustainable building client programs and project delivery
• Conduct comprehensive site assessments and energy audits to optimize building performance
• Develop and implement Net Zero Carbon pathways for new and existing buildings
• Deliver NABERS evaluations and improvement plan development
• Support Green Star certification projects (Performance and Interiors)
• Apply mechanical engineering expertise to optimize HVAC systems and renewable energy integration
• Produce high-quality client deliverables including reports, presentations, and analytical models

Who You Are

You are a passionate sustainability professional who demonstrates strategic thinking, analytical skills, and emotional intelligence. You're a problem solver who thrives in collaborative environments and stays current with sustainability innovations.

Essential Requirements

• 3 to 4 years of experience in mechanical building services consultancy, building design, or operations
• Experience with Green Star Performance and/or Green Star Interiors rating tools
• Proven track record in Net Zero Carbon strategy or NABERS Improvement Plan development
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Project management experience with proven client relationship capabilities

Highly Regarded

• Building performance simulation experience (IES or similar)
• Chartered Engineer status or working toward chartership
• Green Star Accredited Professional certification
• NABERS Assessor accreditation
• CBD Accreditation
