We can offer you the opportunity to learn more about WHS legislation and compliance issues in all facets of health and safety practices on a daily basis, across a diverse workforce. Applying your strong interpersonal and communication skills, you'll foster the ongoing development of a safety culture and associated positive behaviours across all levels of the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:

- Promote a culture that prioritises employee safety and wellness
- Assist with staff injury management (both work and non-work related illness and injury)
- Event coordination to ensure the smooth running of the City's Wellness Expo

To be successful, you will require

- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Highly confidential approach to work
- Strong interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and tact
- Knowledge of injury management and return to work programmes
- Strong administrative experience, preferably in a work health and safety administration role
- Excellent customer service skills
We are offering a gross salary of $83,781 to $89,652 per annum depending on skills and experience. But this job is so much more than the money
- You'll also receive 12% superannuation, and be able to co-contribute up to 5% - that's 22% in total
- We are passionate about professional development of our employees, and we will support your ongoing learning both on-the-job and through formal study, by providing paid study leave and reimbursement of study fees.
- Great health and wellbeing programmes, including an annual reimbursement of up to $200 for physical activities (e.g. sports club or gym memberships).
