About the role
We're looking for a Sales Coordinator who is a self-starter and seasoned sales professional who can identify and develop relationships with new clients, drive brand awareness and generate new business opportunities whilst creating strategic solutions to achieve revenue and sales targets.
Responsibilities- Business Development & Sales Strategy
- Create and execute business development strategies to secure new international clients, national clients and projects, in consultation with the Director
- Build, nurture and manage client book
- Using initiative and commercial acumen to drive sales outcomes, and achieve both personal goals and the broader Sales team
- Analyse sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Develop event programs with the Sales team and the Director to nurture and maintain strong client relationships
- Conduct expert product presentations and training sessions for clients both in the showroom and offsite
- Leading and motivating the sales team to achieve their sales targets
- Training and developing the Sales team to deliver exceptional service
- Managing rosters to maximise showroom staff coverage
- Identify opportunities to drive customer traffic into the showroom
- Process and manage Trade Sales
- Liaise between the teams to ensure relevant information is communicated
- Attend and contribute to Production meetings when required
- Exceptional skills & experience in managing conflict & resolving complaints
- Product Knowledge & Resources
- Possess an encyclopedic knowledge of the products in the store, including materials, finishes, and the design story
- Maintain a thorough directory of influential designers and emerging talent, as well as monitor what competitors are doing
- Assist with the development and implementation of new informational resources as needed
- Experience
- A seasoned sales professional with an existing client book
- Expert at building client relationships and a natural host
- Strong analytical skills and experience in driving performance improvement
- Graceful in the face of challenging client situations
- Outstanding organisation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced, creative work environment
- Have sales experience in similar premium showroom environments
- Experience with Cin7 (Dear Inventory) is a plus
