Early Childhood Educator - Diploma (Kindergarten)

We are seeking a skilled Early Childhood Educator to join our kindergarten programs at Isabel Pearce Kindergarten.

About the Role

This part-time position involves working 12 hours per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm during school terms.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children, supporting their physical, social, emotional and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement engaging and inclusive educational programs that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families and staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, identifying areas of strength and need.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and participate in regular review meetings with parents and colleagues.
Qualifications and Certificates Required
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Current HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting.
  • Current HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
  • Criminal History Check (valid within six months).
  • Valid Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Mandatory Reporting and Child Safety training.
