We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented solicitor to join our growing WorkCover team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing a file load of Queensland workers' compensation matters, providing expert legal advice, and representing clients through various stages of their claims process. Your role will include:

• Providing legal advice and support to clients in relation to WorkCover matters
• Drafting Notice of Claim for Damages, other legal correspondence and documents.
• Obtaining claim evidence and statements to support client matters
• Attending and representing clients at conferences, mediations, and court hearings
• Managing and progressing files, ensuring all legal and procedural requirements are met
• Negotiating settlements and assisting with dispute resolution
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Staying up to date with changes in legislation and legal cases affecting WorkCover claims

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a solicitor who can confidently hit the ground running and is committed to securing the best possible outcomes for their clients. You'll bring:

• A passion for plaintiff personal injury law and client advocacy.
• Demonstrated experience or exposure in workers' compensation claims.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong file management capabilities.
• A proactive, empathetic, and collaborative approach to legal practice
